Head of Development, Research Network – Edgeryders

Anique specialises in strategic alliances and interdisciplinary collaboration through the commons, open research, experimental programming and networked infrastructures.

Actively engaged as Edgeryders’ Head of Development, Research Network, she workins with a network of 4000+ activists, researchers, developers, social innovators, policy makers and journalists on autonomous open source projects in response to complex problems. Anique is a Member and former visiting researcher at the Senselab, Concordia University and collaborative researcher with the Unbewitch Finance Lab, Brussels.

With fifteen years experience in collaborative communities of practice across Europe, North America, Australia, Asia and the MENA region, she is currently focused on system change through collective intelligence, alter and solidarity economies, young feminist leadership, innovation politics, open and citizen science, social innovation and next generation digital infrastructures. Anique is renowned for programming high profile and high impact incubators, festivals and symposia, as well as place-based participatory development frameworks spanning heritage, social inclusion and smart cities. A dynamic facilitator with a particular interest in emergent and responsive techniques to work through difference, her research and philosophical practice investigates the connections between people, places, processes and potential across decolonial, late-Capitalist, post-structuralist and speculative landscapes.

Anique holds a MS from Australian National University and is a Fellow of the Centre for Sustainability Leadership.
